broken

This cartoon shows a man representing the voters trying to draw a picture of Mitt Romney core principles, represented by the broken etch a sketch. This is saying that Romney isn't clear to his voters what he actually plans to do in his presidency. For the voters, it is impossible for them to get a clear opinion of him.

who watches american idol?

This political cartoon shows the problem with getting young voters out to vote. They don't know how to appeal to this demographic or let them know that their voice can be heard or that it matters. This ballad shows an option for American Idol. It shows a comical example of something that could grab young voters attention.

Freeze!

This cartoon shows an Iranian leader beating a citizen being stopped by the Iranian people. One threatens to tweet the violence. This cartoon is saying that the increase in access to the Internet for these countries is starting to make it impossible for leaders to oppress their people because the entire world is watching, supporting the protesting of tyranny.

Simbama

This cartoon is a paradoy of a scene in The Lion King where Rafiki is presenting Simba to the world. However, instead it is President Obama presenting Osama Bin Laden's head, to the American people. This shows how democrats will try to use this accomplishment to their advantage in the upcoming election. The satirical part about this is that it's kind of screwed up to use the death of a human being as tool for the campaign.

Mudslingers

This cartoon shows the elephant and donkey of the republican and democratic parties, respectively, covered in mud that has been slung by their opponent. In the background, there is a crowd of voters claiming that they are changing their votes to the independent party. This shows how the dirty politics and mudslinging of the parties have turned the voters off from them. They aren't focusing on the issues as much as trying to make the other candidates look bad.

It's the end of the world

This cartoon represents what the republican party, the elephant buying the movie ticket, believes the results would be if President Obama is reelected. According to the cartoon, the party thinks it would cause a massive amount of problems, shown by the marquee of an apocalyptic movie on the theater. The main idea that is trying to be expressed is that the republican nominee will be the smarter, safer choice.
